what's my focus?
My centre of attention is fitness, fun, finances and family.
I reckon life is for enjoying, and that's what I'm doing - sometimes with boundless energy, sometimes with copious quantities of quiet.
My super-power is seeing the potential in people and situations. I’ve even worked as a ‘Director of Enthusiasm’!
Oh, and in case you were curious, I don’t have children of my own. The best thing about that (apart from quiet Sunday mornings and always having food in the house) is I can draw on the wisdom of every parent I’ve met without tainting your teen – or your financial situation – with my own family failings.
‘Impartial’ could easily be my middle name.
“Have we met before?”
I hear that often – people recognise my face but can’t pick the nose!
Either I have a good-looking stunt-double or we’ve met before at Scouts – I volunteer as National Commissioner for Scouts New Zealand.
Or was it at Toastmasters, International Coach Federation, National Speakers Association, XL Results Foundation or Johnson & Johnson New Leaders Foundation?
Perhaps I brought you lunch – I’ve been a ParkRoyal waiter!
The only place you won’t have seen me is at university. I’m living proof that going straight from school to tertiary study isn’t the only way to become successful. What a radical thought.
